This Privacy Statement applies to personal data collected and processed by the Polish Society for Biomaterials (PSB) as a ‘Biomaterials in Medicine and Veterinary Medicine’ conferences organizer. Our registered office is: Al. Mickiewicza 30, 30-059 Kraków, Poland. PSB, as a Data Controller, is committed to protecting the privacy of our conference participants. We endeavour to comply with the Data Protection Act 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (amended) and other relevant legislation.

How we collect your personal data
We collect personal data when you register to attend the conference. The personal data we routinely collect includes:
• Full name
• Email address
• Postal address
• Phone number
• Academic degree/Job Title
• University/Company name
• Contact details

We do not collect any special categories of personal data, as defined under the GDPR.

How we use your personal data
Your personal data will be collected and processed in order to register your participation in the PSB conferences, enable communication between the organizers and participants, and send information about future events. The data related to the public identity will be used for access control at the event and hotel services, the data related to the university/company will be used for the networking platform, the geographic data will be used for statistics, the contact data will be used for communication. In addition, we would like to inform you that in order to document the conference, photographs will be taken, and some of them may be published on the conference website.

About our email newsletters
